Aggie Remembrance Day | May 1, 2026

Each year, Aggie Remembrance Day brings the New Mexico State University community together to honor the students, faculty, staff, and alumni we have lost between April 15 of the previous year and April 15 of the current year.

This is more than a time to reflect — it’s a moment to celebrate lives that were full of meaning, love, and impact. These are people who left behind memories that still carry weight, stories that still matter, and a spirit that continues to live on in the Aggie family.

Hosted by the NMSU Student Involvement and Leadership Program (SILP), the evening includes words from university speakers, musical performances, and the reading of each name, accompanied by the ringing of the memorial bell — a powerful reminder that every life honored still echoes through this community.
